Shabbat Services and Purim Celebration

Shabbat Services are always joyful and meaningful at Congregation P’nai Tikvah. But this Shabbat – “Mi she-nichnas Adar, marbin b’simchah“: When we enter Adar, the joy increases. So “come as you aren’t” (in costume) and be prepared for puns, jokes, and parodies as the month progresses. Tismach b’Adar! Be happy; it’s AdarJoin us Friday, March 6 for our Tot Shabbat at 6:30 pm and our Kabbalat Shabbat, Purim and Maariv Services at 7:30 pm at the Kraft-Sussman Chapel. Do bring friends and family to Shabbat services and Purim celebration. We welcome all.
Here’s a great article on Ritualwell for you. Is Purim about the hidden and the revealed? About the solemn task of using power wisely? About communal celebration? About the rights of Jews and of women? A deadly serious grown-up holiday, or a fun and frivolous day of festivities for children? Read more…  We look forward to sharing this special time with you and your loved ones!
And then on Saturday, March 7 all are welcome to  a fascinating Torah Study at 10:00 am (RSVPs required – 436-4900).
