Sabrina Ani Linker Bat Mitzvah – Shavuot, Sunday, May 24 in an outdoor service with Congregation P’nai Tikvah

Sabrina Ani Linker, daughter of Scott Linker and Ariel Cole, will be called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah on Shavuot, Sunday, May 24, in an outdoor service with Congregation P’nai Tikvah. Sabrina-Ani-Linker-for-onlineA home schooled student, Sabrina is a member of Congregation P’nai Tikvah’s Jewlicious Learners.  She acts, sings, and dances at the Colabo Youth Theater, having appeared in productions of Spring Awakening, Once on this Island, and Pippen, among others.  While she has a little sister, Abigail, she refers to the two Yorkshire terriers, Lucy and Max, who happily share the home with her father and her, as her “sister and brother.” She is a literary aficionado, especially enjoying the works of Shakespeare, Dickens, Poe, and Jane Austin.  Her music tastes run from the Beatles to Mozart, with lots of “Indie” bands in between.  For her Bat Mitzvah project, she plans to volunteer at an animal sanctuary. Sabrina calls herself quirky, but her proud dad considers her a very beautiful, sensitive, old soul, who will do a lot of good in this world.  Rabbi Yocheved Mintz, spiritual leader of Congregation P’nai Tikvah, calls Sabrina a unique, sweet, thoughtful and very talented individual, with a giving heart and caring soul. Congregation P’nai Tikvah is thrilled to daven with Sabrina and witness her becoming a Bat Mitzvah, as the beginning event of our week of celebration leading up to the “L’Chaim Gala” celebrating the first ten years of Rabbi Yocheved Mintz as spiritual leader of Congregation P’nai Tikvah.  The Gala will be held Saturday evening, May 30th at the M Hotel.
