Even though our community, our nation and the entire world is in the midst of an unprecedented and life-threatening pandemic, the celebration of a new year on the Jewish calendar must move ahead. Here at Congregation P’nai Tikvah in Las Vegas, much as with most other congregations, we must adapt to the current circumstances and make our services as accessible and as safe as possible for our members, families, guests and friends, in the safest way possible.

ZOOM ROOM REGISTRATION: Register for access to the Zoom Room where we will be conducting services here. You must be registered to access the room. You only need to register once receive the link that will allow you to access all services. The Zoom registration lists may be confusing, as it includes dates on which we have no services scheduled.
When are High Holy Day Services?
Our services will be on the following dates and times (all times are Pacific Standard Time:
Erev Yom Kippur: Sunday, Sept. 27, 7:30 PM
Yom Kippur Day: Monday, Sept. 28, 9:30 AM

Afternoon Service: Monday, Sept. 28, 3:00 PM
Yizkor Service: Monday, Sept. 28, 5:15 PM
Ne’ilah Concluding Service: Monday, Sept. 28, 6:30 PM
Virtual Break the Fast: Monday, Sept. 28, at sundown, immediately following Ne’ilah
Must I register in order to participate in the services?
Yes, so that we may keep our ZOOM virtual meeting room as secure as possible, we ask that you register below. Once your registration has been received, we will send you an email with the meeting room number and password which you will use for all Congregation P'nai Tikvah High Holy Days services.
Is there a charge for registering to attend High Holy Day Services?
As in the past Congregation P’nai Tikvah, will not require anyone to purchase a ticket or pay a fee to participate in High Holy Day services. However, as always, donations are greatly appreciated. You may wish to honor someone, remember a departed loved one or wish someone a speedy recovery from an illness or accident. Simply click on the “Donate” button below and let us know how you wish to donate and for what purpose.
What about a prayer book?
Many of our members purchased a special High Holy Days prayer book last year. We are planning to use that same prayer book again, this year. If you do not have one of those books and would like to have one, there is a limited supply remaining, at a cost of $18.00Members and $36 for CPT Guests, including postage. We join with Camp Havaya for family High Holiday programming to celebrate the Jewish holidays in a way that's engaging, welcoming, celebratory, and fun! Join us for one of these opportunities to connect as we dive into the new year. All are free and open to the community ... and no experience is necessary!

Shofar House Calls with Rabbi Mintz and Reb Jamie
When Rosh HaShanah comes, the mitzvah is “LiShmoa Kol Shofar”/to hear the sound of the Shofar. This year, our “roving rabbi and almost rabbi” Rabbi Mintz and Reb Jamie are happy to come to your home and blow the Shofar for you and yours, from a safe distance outside of your home.
