Kehillah is more than a gathering of people, translated as community or congregation, it reflects our obligations to each other and the entire Jewish community.

INTRODUCTION

There are many ways to be a part of our wonderful family and meet new friends!

ROSH CHODESH – A New Moon for All

Congregation P’nai Tikvah Rosh Chodesh A New Moon for All experience meets at a different member’s house monthly, on the Sunday or weekday nearest the beginning of the new month on the Hebrew calendar. Joining together for prayer, song, fun, food, and friendship, the group is open to all women members of the congregation.

Rosh Chodesh celebrations are led by our members and guest facilitators. Social and educational, past activities have included crafts projects, cooking projects, movement sessions and discussion of holidays, books, and Jewish themes. Highlights of the previous years have been an annual summer retreat at a member’s cabin in the mountains of Southern Utah. We spend a weekend there enjoying good company, wonderful food and spiritual growth in beautiful natural surroundings.
